Crafted with heavily peated barley – reaching 50ppm phenol – and incorporating peat sourced from across Scotland, this whisky reflects a dedication to innovative production. Matured initially in bourbon casks, it’s finished in Ex-Rioja red wine casks, imparting notes of toasted oak and rich dark fruits to its smoky core. Bottled at 50% ABV, this expression offers a complex and flavourful taste of Lagg’s pioneering approach to Scotch whisky.
