Lochlea Original Bottling First Release Matured in Bourbon and PX Cask 46% Vol, 700 ml

Distilled at the young Lochlea distillery in Ayrshire, Scotland, this inaugural release showcases the promise of a new Lowland single malt. Matured initially in ex-Bourbon barrels for core character, the whisky is finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks, imparting rich dried fruit notes. The result is a full-bodied spirit at 46% ABV, offering a harmonious balance of vanilla sweetness, spice, and dark fruit complexity. Expect a warming finish with hints of chocolate and a lingering sweetness on the palate.
