About this whisky
- Region:
Distilled in April 1991, this 14-year-old Macallan was created to celebrate the 100th Moray Open golf tournament held in Lossiemouth, 2005. Matured exclusively in sherry casks #8496 and #8497 at the renowned Macallan Distillery, it embodies the rich traditions of both Speyside whisky and Scottish golf. Expect a flavour profile deeply influenced by its sherry wood maturation, offering notes of dried fruit, spice, and a subtle sweetness. The bottle’s label pays tribute to Old Tom Morris, a legendary figure in golf course design and a son of St Andrews.
