The Macallan distillery, located on the Easter Elchies estate in Speyside, Scotland, was founded by Alexander Reid in 1824. This whisky is crafted using The Macallan's Six Pillars: curiously small stills, precise cask management, and a very narrow 'cut' of new make spirit.
