Macallan x Charles Rennie Mackintosh – Art is the Flower

Inspired by the natural motifs within Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s iconic designs, this Macallan single malt embodies a harmonious blend of artistry and distillation. Matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned European oak casks, the whisky reveals a deep, rich character brimming with notes of dried fruits – raisins and fig – alongside polished oak, cherry, and a hint of almond. The palate unfolds with sweet oak, vanilla, ginger, and apple, finishing with a long, sweet richness and a delicate whisper of tea leaf. Bottled at 50.4% in tribute to the influential group of artists known as ‘The Four’, this expression captures the spirit of Glasgow’s artistic heritage.
