This Kentucky straight bourbon begins with fully matured Maker’s Mark, then undergoes a unique finishing process involving ten seared, virgin French oak staves. These staves are inserted into the barrel and allowed to interact with the whisky for nine weeks within a cool, limestone cellar, imparting rich complexity. The result is a cask-strength expression boasting amplified notes of oak, spice, and caramel, offering a distinctly richer and more nuanced tasting experience.
