Method and Madness 33 Year Old Mizunara Cask Finish

A limited-edition single pot still Irish whiskey from Method and Madness that combines Japan’s rarest type of oak with spirit from one of Ireland’s most inventive distillers. Initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels for three decades, it was then finished in Japanese mizunara oak for three years, before being bottled at 33-years-old. Aromas of freshly-baked coffee cake, worn leather and rich toasted nuts fill the nose, complemented by notes of nutmeg, vanilla, pot still spice, oak spice and soft fruit throughout the palate.
