Nc’nean – Ainnir Inaugural Release

Nc’nean Ainnir, the inaugural release from this innovative Highland distillery, embodies a commitment to natural Scotch whisky production. Born from a vision to reshape the industry, Nc’nean – named for the Gaelic ‘Queen of the Spirits’ – began its journey in 2013, with distillation commencing in 2017. This first expression is a powerful, cask strength (60.3%) vatting of five carefully selected casks: ex-bourbon barrels alongside uniquely treated wine barriques, offering a complex character. Expect a rich and layered profile, hinting at sweet vanilla alongside deeper, fruit-forward notes and a subtle spice – a testament to Nc’nean’s pioneering spirit and dedication to quality.
