Nc’nean distillery is a highland distillery located in Drumlin opposite the Isle of Mull, the name comes from the Gaelic legend of ‘Neachneohain’ (pronounced Nc-ne-an) the Queen of the Spirits. The Nc’nean distillery aims to have a none environmental impact and is a fully organic and net zero emission producer. It does this by using renewable electricity, recycled glass for its bottling and planting trees in a nearby forest to offset the little emissions it does create. The first in the Quiet Rebels series is dedicated to Annabel Thomas the founder and CEO of Nc’nean’s distillery. The smell of spice is dominant with this whisky, cinnamon, cardamom and ginger with vanilla in the background, the palate is flower honey, vanilla, citrus and oak with a short finish of citrus, honey ginger and oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturaly: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from auctions, ballots, and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.

Every time we'll add new rare spirit to our website, we'll update you in the email
