Distilled on Islay at Bruichladdich in October 2002, this Octomore represents a pioneering expression of heavily peated single malt whisky. Matured exclusively in first-fill Buffalo Trace Bourbon casks for five years, it delivers a robust character imbued with sweet vanilla and spice. Bottled at 46% ABV and a remarkable 80.5 PPM, this whisky was, at its release, the most intensely peated ever created. Expect a powerful, smoky experience balanced by the warmth of American oak.
