Port Charlotte CC:01 2007

Port Charlotte CC:01 is a powerfully elegant, heavily peated single malt whisky from Bruichladdich, crafted with barley peated to 40ppm. Distilled in 2007, this expression pays homage to the historic Lochindaal distillery – originally known as Port Charlotte – which ceased production in 1929. Uniquely matured entirely in Cognac casks from the western region of France, it develops a complex character beyond its Islay peat smoke. Expect a rich and warming spirit with a distinctive fruitiness layered beneath the signature Port Charlotte intensity, bottled at 57.8% ABV.
