Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2013

Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2013 is the 4th edition of heavily peated Islay-grown single malt whisky released from Bruichladdich. The nose opens with delicate floral notes of lily and geranium, leading to orange zest and dried earthy peat smoke, which brings body and gravity. The palate shows great texture, with plenty of salinity, fruit, light peat smoke and sweet oak.
