About this whisky
- Region:
Port Charlotte PC6 is a powerfully elegant single malt from Bruichladdich, born from a spirit heavily peated to 40ppm and distilled in tall, graceful stills. Created as a tribute to the lost Lochindaal distillery – originally known as Port Charlotte, which shuttered its doors in 1929 – this 6-year-old whisky was among the first expressions released by the distillery team in 2001. Named “cuairt beatha,” Gaelic for “the walk of life,” PC6 honours the dedication of those who craft this intensely flavoured spirit. Expect a robust and smoky character, reflecting its Islay origins and high peat level, bottled at a commanding 61.6% ABV.
