Port Charlotte PC7 is a powerfully elegant, heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich, crafted with barley peated to 40ppm and distilled in tall, graceful stills. This 7-year-old whisky revives the legacy of the original Port Charlotte distillery – Lochindaal – which shuttered its doors in 1929, representing a return to Islay’s traditional spirit. Bottled in 2008 at 61% ABV, PC7 delivers a robust smoky character, embodying the spirit of Islay with the Gaelic phrase ‘Sin An Doigh Ileach’ – “It’s the Islay way, and may it never change.” Expect a full-bodied experience, rich with peat smoke and a lingering finish.
