Port Charlotte SC:01 is a powerfully elegant single malt from Bruichladdich, born from a spirit heavily peated to 40ppm and distilled in tall, traditional stills. Created as a tribute to the lost Lochindaal distillery – originally known as Port Charlotte, which shuttered in 1929 – this 9-year-old expression was first distilled in 2012. Matured across a fascinating selection of Sherry, Bourbon, and Sauternes casks, it delivers a complex character at 55.2% ABV. Expect a rich and smoky experience, balancing intense peat with notes of fruit and sweetness.
