Raasay – Inaugural Release (2020)

Born on the Isle of Raasay between Skye and the Scottish mainland, this inaugural single malt represents the distillery’s first foray into whisky production. Matured initially in first-fill Tennessee whiskey barrels, it gains a unique sweetness before a finishing period in first-fill Bordeaux wine casks imparts rich fruit notes. The result is a complex character with a core of vanilla and spice, layered with hints of red apple and dark cherry. This whisky offers a captivating taste of Hebridean heritage and innovative maturation techniques.
