Rosebank, built alongside the Forth-Clyde canal in 1840, was renowned for its uniquely smooth spirit, achieved through a distinctive distillation process. This expression, bottled in 2011 for Diageo’s Special Releases, offers a delicate bouquet of meadow flowers complemented by bright, fresh citrus notes, matured in both refill American and European oak casks. Bottled at 53.8% ABV, it represents a final taste of a ‘most distinguished’ malt, sadly lost but never forgotten.
