Skara Brae 16 Year Old 2005 (cask 22) – The Cooper’s Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.)

The folks at The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. got their hands on a marvellous cask of single malt here, but they’ve kept the name of the distillery a secret… What we do know is that it was distilled on Orkney in 2005, which we suppose might help to narrow things down a little, if you’re planning on being a whisky Columbo? After maturing for 16 years in a single bourbon cask, the whisky was released as part of The Cooper’s Choice collection, with a total outturn of 360 bottles.
