Skara Brae 16 Year Old 2005 (cask 23) – The Cooper’s Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.)

Another Skara Brae bottling from The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., produced at an undisclosed Orkney distillery back in 2005. Though that’s all we know, seeing as there are only a handful of distilleries on Orkney, that information does help narrow it down a smidge. The single malt then rested in a single ex-bourbon cask for 16 years, before it was bottled up for The Cooper’s Choice Series at 51.5% ABV, with an outturn of 372 bottles.
