The second half of Spirit of Hven’s sixth instalment of its Seven Stars series – are you keeping up? Number six has been released as a pair as it pays tribute to the binary pair of stars Mizar and Alcor, which form a naked eye double in the handle of the Plough. Like Mizar, some of this whisky has been aged in casks that formerly contained Chateau Margaux. This time, however, it is joined by whisky aged in oloroso sherry, Italian dessert wine and Spirit of Hven vodka barrels.
