This single malt began its journey in refill bourbon barrels for six years, developing a foundation of vanilla sweetness, before being finished for four years in fresh American oak Palo Cortado hogsheads. The result is a complex whisky offering notes of dried fruit, spice, and a subtle nuttiness imparted by the sherry cask influence. Distilled in July 2013 and bottled in September 2023, it embodies Springbank’s commitment to traditional methods and exceptional flavour.
