Springbank – 10 Year Old (Pedro Ximenez Cask Matured) 2022 Release

Springbank’s 10 Year Old, released in 2022, showcases the distinctive character of this celebrated Campbeltown distillery. This single malt begins its maturation in refill bourbon barrels for seven years, developing a foundation of vanilla and oak. It then spends three years finishing in a fresh Spanish oak Pedro Ximenez hogshead, imparting rich notes of dark fruit – raisins and figs – alongside a subtle sweetness. The result is a complex and rewarding whisky, distilled in July 2012 and bottled in October 2022, offering a glimpse into Springbank’s traditional style.
