Distilled in July 2012 and bottled in October 2022, this Springbank Original represents a decade of careful maturation at the Campbeltown distillery. Initially aged in refill bourbon barrels, the whisky gains further complexity through a finishing period in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead. This process imparts rich notes of dark fruit – raisins and figs – alongside the distillery’s signature maritime character and subtle peat smoke. The result is a full-bodied, 55% ABV expression offering a harmonious balance of sweetness and savoury depth.
