Strathisla 20 Year Old Distillery Limited Edition

Known as the oldest operating distillery in Scotland, the majority of its produce ends up with Chivas Regals blends, but a small fraction does get through to become single malts and holds its title with respect, Chivas even refers to the Strathisla whisky as its ‘heart’. This is a 20 year old, just released in June 2023 with only 125 bottles produced in total. With aromas of butterscotch, vanilla, plum and toasted oak, the palate is summer berries, cinnamon and nutmeg with a long finish of tingling spices.
