Strathisla 65 Year Old 1953 – Private Collection (Gordon & MacPhail)

Extremely well-aged whisky is the name of the game for Gordon & MacPhail’s Private Collection, and that’s exactly what we have here. It’s a 65 year old single malt from the Strathisla Distillery, which was distilled all the way back in 1965! It spent many, many, many moons in a first-fill sherry butt, before being bottled in 2019 at 43.5% ABV. Just 143 bottles were produced, each one housed within a handsome wooden presentation box.
