Tatoosh Rye

Tatoosh distillery was opened in Seattle in 2009 and founded by Troy Turner and Mark Simon. Ingredients are all sourced locally in the Pacific Northwest and the mashbill in this excellent Rye is around 70 to 30 rye to corn. Distilled in copper pot stills and aged in char #4 American oak barrels, this is a big, bold Rye with caramel and vanilla sweetness on the nose and palate. Burnt oak and spicy notes dance on the finish which is long and well-balanced.
