The Whisky Exchange, a world leader in retail of whisky and spirits has been known to buy and bottle up casks from around the world. In 2018 this 17 year old mystery Speyside whisky was released as a Christmas special, It has proved a hit and has been done again and again in other years. Once opened the aromas of Christmas cheer, mince pies, cinnamon and nutmeg are present, and the palate is of caramel, apple, chocolate, toasted oak, and nuts, with a medium long finish of pine, raisins, oak and Christmas spice.
