One of the inaugural releases from Ireland’s Waterford distillery, focusing on the differences in soil and terroir across the country. Bannow Island Edition 1.1 is made from barley grown by the sea, with the grain battered by salty breezes as it grows. Unsurprisingly it has a touch of brininess as part of its layered, complex and easy-drinking character.
