White Peak Wire Works First Release Batch #1

Wire Works Whisky from White Peak Distillery is a single malt whisky that marks Derbyshire's first foray into the world of Single Malts. Distilled in 2018 and released in 2022, this whisky boasts a unique character developed using a combination of English un-peated and peated malted barley, with a lightly-peated profile. Its distinctive flavour profile is further enhanced by a four-day fermentation process involving a custom yeast blend sourced from a local Peak District brewery, resulting in a complex and nuanced taste experience. This inaugural release is matured in STR & Bourbon casks, aged at 50.3% ABV.
