A superb wheated Bourbon from Buffalo Trace and one of the stand-outs from the their annual “Antique Collection” releases. Distilled in 1993 and released in 2005, this edition of Willaim Larue Weller uses Kentucky corn, North Dakota wheat and malted barley in the mashbill. A big, sweet Bourbon with plenty of pastry notes and creamy vanilla plus lots of spicy flourishes and complexity from the 12 years in oak.
