About this whisky

Released in 2016, Aurora is aged in a combination of second-fill quarter casks, first-fill Bourbon barrels and Oloroso hogsheads. The nose is light and lifted with blanched almonds, toasted hazelnuts and a hint of rancio from the Sherry barrels. The palate brings Sherried dried fruit to the fore along with fresh grist before a spicy finish with notes of figs, date syrup and antique oak.
