Wrecking Coast 8 Year Old Rye Whiskey Sherry Cask Finish

An eight-year-old English rye whiskey from Wrecking Coast distillery that has been finished in ex-sherry casks, creating layers of fruit alongside the classic spicy rye character. Aromas of salted butter, bramble jam, sweet-and-sour fruit, toasted rye bread, honey, cinnamon, mint and caramel fill the nose, complemented by notes of blackcurrants, blackberries, brown sugar, black liquorice, mint-choc-chip ice cream, dark chocolate and earthy oak throughout the palate.
