Yamazaki 18 Year Old

Yamazaki is Japan's first whisky distillery, founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, with its unique location between Osaka and Kyoto allowing for diverse styles of spirit. The distillery's varied stills, including direct-fired and steam-heated options, contribute to a range of flavours in each bottle. This particular 18-year-old single malt offers a rich and complex taste profile, worthy of its Gold Medal win in the International Spirits Challenge 2007. With an ABV of 43%, this whisky is bottled at 70cl, showcasing the best of Japanese whisky's capabilities.
