The Yamazaki is the oldest single malt distillery in Japan, having been founded in 1923 by Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii. This single cask was distilled in 1991 and matured in hogshead until bottling in 2007. Single cask Yamazaki whiskies are very rare, and this is an exceptional bottling to enjoy now or purchase as an investment.
