Yamazaki Single Malt Whisky is crafted at Japan's first distillery, founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii. Situated between Osaka and Kyoto, its unique terroir is shaped by the converging rivers of Katsura, Uji, and Kizu. This whisky boasts a rich complexity, with a varied range of still shapes, sizes, and heating methods allowing for multiple styles to emerge. Tasting notes reveal flavours of honeyed sweetness, subtle oak spices, and a smooth finish.
