Aber Falls Inaugural Release

Aber Falls distillery is a new Welsh distillery which only started production in 2018 and had its Inaugural bottling released in 2021. Many would argue that one of the main influences on the taste of any particular whisky comes from its water source, The Aber Falls distillery source its water from the Aber Falls which come from Snowdonia, a good source of pristine water. Only 2000 bottles were made of the Inaugural release, so not many are around. The scent of summer fruit is first to appear, with marmalade and Christmas spice, the palate is orange peel, biscuits, coffee and tangerine with a medium length finish of zest, apricot and tobacco. Interesting.
