Bruichladdich 12 Year Old Second Edition

Bruichladdich (pronounced as “brook-laddie”) is situated on the Rhinns of Islay which is a peninsula on the western part of the isle of Islay. Bruichladdich is well known as the smoother of the Islay whiskies which are better known for their smoky and peaty character. The Bruichladdich 12 year old upon opening is rich with fruity aromas such as citrus, mango and pineapple, and a slight vanilla undertone, the palate is creamy and fruity still, like a fruit smoothy with vanilla, oak and cocoa in the background and a long finish of fruit tart, vanilla and citrus.
