Bruichladdich (pronounced as “brook-laddie”) is situated on the Rhinns of Islay which is a peninsula on the western part of the isle of Islay. Bruichladdich is well known as the smoother of the Islay whiskies which are better known for their smoky and peaty character. As for this particular bottle which is one of the first 'rocks' expressions, the sweet and gentle aromas of malt and summer fruits, the palate is full of pepper and grapes and some oak, with a medium long finish spicy peppery malt and a slight fruity undertone.
