Dewar’s Anniversary Release 175 Years

Dewars' is responsible for coming up with the technique of blending whiskies by ‘marring’ them. This technique is done by mixing the different whiskies in a cask and leaving them there to mature and blend together for up to another 6 months after their mix. A process used today quite widely. This bottling 175th anniversary release is to celebrate 175 years since the opening of the store in Perth by John Dewar. This exclusive limited edition of only 175 cases of finely selected whiskies blended and married. The aromas of apple, peach and jasmine fill your nostrils, and the palate stays with autumn fruit, heather honey and grass with an undercurrent to smoke to a long finish of autumn fruit and smoked oak.
