Dimple 12 Year Old (1970 Edition)

Named for its unique bottle shape Dimple was first blended in the late 19th century in conjuncture with an increase in the consumption and popularity of blended whisky. The ease of drinking the blended spirits in comparison to some disastrous single malts at the time is what made the change. The colour best describing the Dimple spirit is ‘rich gold’ with aromas of musk, steel, soft fruit and smoke, the palate is spicy citrus, smoke, chilli and menthol, and the finish isn’t long with bittersweet tart and smoke.
