Kilchoman 2009 Original Cask Strength

Kilchoman is a small, independent distillery located on the west coast of Islay, Scotland. Founded in 2005, it is one of the youngest distilleries on the island but has quickly established a reputation for producing high-quality single malt whiskies. Kilchoman's whiskies are known for their rich, peaty flavours and complex aromas, resulting from the distillery's use of traditional production methods and locally sourced barley. This 2009 expression has the aromas of roasted nuts, lemon, sea breeze, and vanilla, the palate is smoky peat, nutmeg, and honey with a long finish of citrus, smoke, and baked potato.
