Knockando is Diageo's 5th best selling whiskies, although this may not be noticeable in the UK market it is a very popular whisky, particularly in Europe, used mostly for the blends of J&B. Knockando is a typical Speyside whisky characterised by being very light and fruity. This 1987 12 year old is characterised by its nutty notes, once opened the aromas of nuts, vanilla and oranges will greet you, and the palate is vanilla and orange with almond and hazel ending with a medium length finish of oak, hazel, vanilla and black pepper.
