An eight-year-old Islay single malt from independent bottler Blackadder, finished in a single sherry cask and bottled in May 2018 as part of its Peat Reek Embers range. Aromas of hot tarmac, leather, vanilla, heavy peat smoke and apples fill the nose, complemented by notes of dried fruit, Szechuan pepper, tar, sweet apples and thick waves of smouldering peat throughout the palate.
