Finnieston Distillery was a Scotch whisky distillery located in Finnieston, an area of Glasgow, in the Lowland region of Scotland. It is recorded as having closed and been demolished in 1827, making it one of many small Lowland distilleries that disappeared during the industry's early 19th-century consolidation. Almost nothing else about its operation survives in the historical record, and no bottlings from the distillery are known to exist today.
Finnieston Distillery operated in the Finnieston district of Glasgow, on the north bank of the River Clyde, in an area that was then a hub of industrial and dockside activity rather than the residential and commercial neighbourhood it has become today. As with many small Lowland distilleries of the early 19th century, detailed records of its founding date, ownership, and production have not survived, and no precise establishment year appears in available whisky reference sources.
