From the historic Ardbeg Distillery, founded on Islay in 1815, comes ‘Arrrrrrrdbeg!’, a unique expression celebrating a dedicated chapter in the distillery’s story. This 13-year-old whisky, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2020, uniquely matured entirely in ex-rye casks – a first for Ardbeg. The result is a bold and flavourful spirit, bursting with fruity notes and departing from the distillery’s traditionally peated profile, yet retaining a characteristic oily mouthfeel. Bottled at 51.8% ABV, ‘Arrrrrrrdbeg!’ offers a distinctive taste of Islay innovation.
