Born on the windswept Isle of Islay, Ardbeg Supernova SN2014 represents a bold evolution of this historic distillery’s intensely peated character. Distilled at Ardbeg – established in 1815 and revived in 1997 – this expression pushes the boundaries of smoky flavour, delivering a powerful wave of tarry, sooty notes. A unique maturation incorporating Sherry casks adds a rich depth, enhancing sweetness and introducing warming spice to balance the signature Islay peat. The result is an exceptionally full-bodied whisky with an oily texture and a lingering, complex finish, bottled at 55% ABV.
