Ardnahoe 6 Year Old represents a bold new chapter in Islay whisky-making, born from the Laing family’s decades of blending expertise. Distilled in January 2019 at this northeast coast distillery – nestled amongst renowned neighbours like Bunnahabhain and Caol Ila with stunning views of Jura – this spirit benefits from unique production methods including long lyne arms and traditional wooden worm tubs. Matured exclusively in a bourbon barrel (cask #169), it delivers a robust character at 58.4% ABV, offering a taste of Islay’s evolving landscape. Expect a whisky reflecting both heritage and innovation, signed by Distillery Manager David Livingstone, and bottled in June 2025 after six years of maturation.
