Ardnamurchan AD/09.20:01 Inaugural Release

Born on the shores of Loch Sunart, Ardnamurchan distillery began production in 2014, quickly establishing itself as a beacon of sustainable whisky-making. This inaugural single malt, released in October 2020, showcases the distillery’s commitment to both traditional techniques and environmental responsibility, utilizing locally sourced malt from Broomhill Farm. Matured in a harmonious blend of 65% ex-bourbon and 35% sherry casks, it offers a complex character with notes of sweet fruit balanced by subtle smoky undertones. Bottled at 46.8% ABV, this expression provides a full-bodied experience, revealing the journey from barley to bottle with every sip.
