Crafted in the heart of Speyside, The Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood showcases a beautifully balanced character achieved through a unique maturation process. Initially aged in traditional oak casks, the spirit is then ‘finished’ in first-fill European oak sherry casks for a period of time, imparting rich, honeyed sweetness. This double maturation results in a whisky brimming with notes of vanilla, dried fruit, and a gentle spice.
