Distilled in 2011 and bottled in August 2024, this 12-year-old Benrinnes originates from a distillery with roots in Aberdeen, later nurtured by the Mitchell family of Campbeltown. Independently bottled by Wm Cadenhead’s, Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, this expression showcases the spirit in its natural form – unchillfiltered and without artificial colouring. Matured exclusively in a bourbon hogshead, it delivers a robust 56.7% ABV and a flavour profile hinting at sweet vanilla and oak, characteristic of its cask influence. This is a limited release, with only 300 bottles drawn from the cask, offering a genuine taste of Speyside heritage.
